I Submitted My Fourth Forbes Article Today. Here Is What the Process Looks Like.
Most people think getting published in Forbes requires connections, a publicist, or some kind of insider access. I want to show you what it actually looks like when you earn it.
I am a Forbes Coaches Council member. That membership gives me the ability to submit articles for consideration. What it does not do is guarantee anything. Every article still has to meet Forbes editorial standards — no direct promotion, genuine value to the reader, expertise-forward, actionable. The bar is real.
My first, second, and third articles have been approved and are live. The first article angle was about what 13 years as a Fractional COO taught me about how organizations actually accomplish their most important goals — and what that means for individuals who have never had access to those tools. It performed well. The organic reach from a Forbes byline is a completely different category from social media reach.
My second fourth is in submission now. The angle: your goals have always deserved a project manager — here is why that has never existed for individuals and why it matters that it does now. This is the category-defining article. The one that positions Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ not as another productivity app but as the first platform built specifically for this problem.
The process: research the angle, write the draft in Forbes voice — short paragraphs, declarative sentences, COO expertise as the credibility, one natural mention of the platform, actionable ending — submit through the Council portal, wait for editorial review. If it comes back with notes, revise and resubmit. If it is approved, it goes live with a Forbes byline that I own permanently.
I have always built authority before I needed it. That is the strategy. By the time Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ is in every conversation about goal management software, I will have a Forbes publication record that makes the name Desiree’ Stapleton, MBA, DBA mean something in that conversation.
You do not wait to be taken seriously. You build the record that demands it.
About Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™
We believe goals aren’t aspirational — they’re practical. For decades, the methodology that built billion-dollar companies and shaped the world’s most successful executives was locked behind consulting firms and premium coaches. We’re making it available to everyone.
The Problem
You set a goal. You get excited. You make a plan. Then life happens. Deadlines shift. Priorities change. Suddenly you’re not sure if you’re on pace — or if the goal itself is even still achievable. Most people quit because the plan behind the goal feels as fragile as the goal itself.
Our Solution
Goal Accomplishment Made Easy™ automates the hard part. Tell us your goal — what success looks like, when you need it done, and what you can dedicate to it. We build your complete execution plan: phases, deliverables, week-by-week tasks, and a live health score that updates as you work.
When things change (and they will), the system recommends structural adjustments — not motivational platitudes. Your coach gets it. Your calendar syncs automatically. You always know whether you’re on track.
